Hi My name is Don Mikler and I live in the South Puget Sound Region, and work in State & Federal Government as a public servant.  

My primary focus is on SharePoint application development, infrastructure administration and end user support. although I do occasionally dabble in standard .Net development. I have over ten years experience in the public sector with the following Web software technologies: Microsoft SharePoint Designer and SharePoint 2007 & 2010, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, InfoPath, Visio and the entire Office 2010 suite, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop & Acrobat Pro to name a few...
 
Extensive knowledge of client server programming technologies not limited to: HTML, CSS, C#, VB.Net, T-SQL, ASP.Net, VBScript, Classic ASP, JavaScript, jQuery and JAVA languages. Comfortable with Relational Database Design, Project Management, Section 508 ADA compliance and accessible Web design following World Wide Web Consortium standards.
 
Progressing well with adminstrative functions in Central Administrator on Windows Server 2003 running MOSS v3 and SharePoint 2010 v4 on 64 bit development workstations.

Sandboxed Solutions

 

A sandbox is a restricted execution environment that enables programs to access only certain resources and that keeps problems that occur in the sandbox from affecting the rest of the server environment. Solutions that you deploy into a sandbox, which are known as sandboxed solutions, cannot use certain computer and network resources and cannot access content outside the site collection they are deployed in.
